Alison Elk

Alison Elk has extensive work experience in various industries. Alison currently holds the position of Vice President at Berkley Healthcare (a Berkley Company). Prior to that, they worked as the Director of the Strategic Claim Unit, Healthcare at CNA Insurance from 2018 to 2023. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the System Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Associate General Counsel at Health First. Before that, they worked as a Staff Counsel in Risk Management at Rady Children's Hospital from 2013 to 2017. Alison also has experience as a Root Cause Analysis/Significant Event Specialist at UC San Diego Health System, a Staff Nurse at Palomar Pomerado Health and Catholic Healthcare West, an English Instructor at Dialog Sprach Institut, a Paralegal at Engle, Carobini, Covner & Coats, and an Associate Attorney in the Litigation Section at Kaufman & Canoles.

Alison Elk began their education journey in 1991 at Purdue University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Alison successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1995. In their pursuit of further professional growth, they then enrolled at the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2000, focusing on Law. Although the exact duration of their studies is unspecified, it is clear that they did not obtain a degree from this institution. Determined to achieve their legal aspirations, Alison turned to the University of Richmond School of Law in 2001, where they completed their Juris Doctor degree in 2003, specializing in Law.
