Ashley Fredricksen

Ashley Fredricksen has extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in underwriting roles. Ashley started their career at Pella Corporation as a Commercial Sales & Marketing Co-op in 2007 before becoming a Sales Assistant in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at Life Time Fitness. Ashley then transitioned to the insurance industry, joining Monitor Liability in 2008 as an Underwriter II for Accountants Professional Liability and later as an Underwriter II for Nonprofit Management Liability. Ashley continued their underwriting career at Lemme Insurance Group as an Account Executive, focusing on small to mid-size accounting firms. In 2013, they joined Berkley Select as a Senior Underwriter for Lawyers Professional Liability until 2018. Ashley briefly worked at Travelers as an Account Executive Officer for Lawyers Professional Liability before returning to Berkley Select in 2020. At Berkley Select, they have held various positions, including Senior Underwriter, Director of Underwriting, and currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Underwriting. Their responsibilities involve overseeing the growth and profitability of the Lawyers Professional Liability Middle Market and Excess products, maintaining relationships with distribution partners, monitoring competitors, mentoring junior underwriters, and collaborating with product development and compliance teams. Additionally, they manage the day-to-day relationship and operations with Berkley Select's Excess program manager.

Ashley Fredricksen began their education in 2004 at Elgin Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Business. Ashley studied there until 2006. Following their time at Elgin Community College, they moved on to Northern Illinois University in 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing (Professional Selling). Ashley completed their studies at Northern Illinois University in 2008.
