Bill Stys

Bill Stys is an experienced cybersecurity professional with extensive expertise in insider threat mitigation and cyber forensics. Currently serving as the Manager - Insider Threat at W. R. Berkley Corporation since February 2022, Bill is focused on establishing a prevention-oriented insider threat program. Prior to this role, Bill worked at General Motors for over six years, where responsibilities included managing enterprise forensics, insider threat operations, and behavioral security, through roles such as Manager and Senior Cyber Forensic Analyst. Earlier experience includes positions at the University of Michigan as a Digital Forensic Specialist, and at the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command, where Bill managed forensic investigations and malware analysis. Bill holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Security from American Military University.
