Phil Offield

Phil Offield has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Phil worked at W. R. Berkley Corporation as the SVP - Global Information Security Architecture and Operations starting in 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of VP - Head of Information Security Architecture and Operations at the same company starting in 2019. Before joining W. R. Berkley Corporation, they served as the Senior Director - Global Information Security, Risk, Operations at Hilton from 2016 to 2019. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Director - Information Security & Assurance at Sungard Availability Services. Phil also worked as the Corporate Information Security Officer at Penson Worldwide, Inc. from 2007 to 2012. Phil Offield has a background in higher education as well, having served as the University Information Security Officer and an Adjunct Professor at Liberty University from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, they held the position of Director Technical Services at the same university from 2000 to 2004. Their earlier career includes working as the MIS Manager at NuVan Technology from 1995 to 2000 and as the Assistant Operations Supervisor in the US Army from 1991 to 1994.

Phil Offield received their Master of Science in Information Security (MSIA) from Norwich University in 2005-2006 and their Bachelor of Science in CIS from Liberty University in the same period. Phil also obtained certifications including CISSP from (ISC)² in 2007, and CISM and CISA from ISACA in 2006.
