Kai Kang

Kai Kang, FCAS has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kai began their career as an Analyst at China Pacific Insurance Company, where they gained expertise in financial analysis and modeling, as well as internal audit. After three years, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, where they further honed their skills before transitioning to Arch Insurance Group Inc. as an Associate Actuary. In 2010, Kai returned to Deloitte as an Actuarial Manager before joining Berkley Re America in 2012. At Berkley Re America, they held various roles including AVP & Pricing Actuary, VP & Head of Reserving, Deputy Chief Actuary, and their most recent position as Chief Actuary. In their leadership role, Kai manages a team of experienced actuaries and oversees all actuarial and analytical functions, including pricing, reserving, Cat modeling, and financial reporting.

Kai Kang, FCAS, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Actuarial Science from East China Normal University in 2001. In 2007, they graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an MBA in Risk Management & Insurance.
