Melissa Gillis

Melissa Gillis is an experienced leader in talent and professional development with a significant background in child welfare and education. Currently serving as the Director of Talent and Professional Development at Together for Youth since November 2019, Melissa has successfully transformed the training department into a Learning Management System, enhancing efficiency and compliance. Previously, Melissa held positions including Assistant Director of Change Management and Systems Change Facilitator for the Berkshire Union Free School and New York State Education Department. Additionally, as a Lead Community Employment Specialist, Melissa provided education and support to school districts in assisting teens with challenges. Earlier in Melissa's career, impressive tenure as Director of Group Homes at Berkshire Farm Center laid a strong foundation for expertise in service delivery and program management. Melissa holds a Master’s degree from The State University of New York.
