Carlos Jaramillo

Carlos Jaramillo is a highly experienced software engineer and robotics expert, currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Berkshire Grey since January 2024. Previously, Carlos held the position of Senior Autonomy Engineer at Sea Machines Robotics and Senior Robotics Engineer at Piaggio Fast Forward, focusing on enhancing personal mobile robots through computer vision. Carlos's earlier roles include Perception Engineer at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation, where contributions involved developing solutions for vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, and several research and teaching positions related to computer vision and mobile robotics at The City College of New York and other institutions. Carlos earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, along with a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, respectively.
