Dave Putney

Dave Putney is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in the technology sector. Currently employed at Berkshire Grey since November 2018, Dave focuses on developing AI and robotics solutions for omni-channel fulfillment. Prior to this, extensive experience includes a role as Principal Software Engineer at Arbor Networks from April 2008 to November 2018, where contributions ranged from packet processing to UI enhancements, alongside mentoring efforts. Earlier positions include Senior Software Engineer at Arbor Networks following its merger with Ellacoya, Software Engineer at Ellacoya Networks, and SQA Engineer roles at both Ellacoya and Lucent Technologies. Dave’s career began at Avaya and Lucent, with a foundation in computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where a BS degree was obtained in 1998.
