Ben LeMere began their career in 1996 as an Operational Specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard. In 2003, they joined the Department of Homeland Security as an Operations Officer, where they deployed leading-edge technology in support of tactical technical collection operations and strategic data mining and pattern analysis programs. In 2007, they were promoted to Program Manager of the Department of Homeland Security. In 2008, they moved to the Defense Cyber Crime Center as a Computer Forensic Examiner. In 2010, they joined the United States Department of Defense as a Senior Forensic Specialist. In 2011, they became the Director of Digital Forensics at 42six Solutions. In 2014, they founded Berla Corporation to meet the needs of the Digital Forensics Community by developing a comprehensive ability to acquire data from a wide range of commercial and proprietary GPS devices. Today, the company has developed, patented, and commercialized three families of products.
Ben LeMere attended the University of New Orleans from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Psychology and Middle Eastern Studies.
