Tara I.M. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and organizations. Tara is currently the Head of Data and Analytics at Berry Street since March 2023. Prior to this, Tara worked at CARE Australia as a Senior Manager - Data from October 2020 to February 2023, and as a Supporter Care and Data Manager from November 2019 to September 2020. Before that, they held various roles at Plan International Australia, starting as a Trainee Project Manager at Syneps Pvt Ltd from February 2001 to August 2005. Tara then joined ICC Pvt Ltd as a Management Trainee from September 2005 to February 2006. Tara's experience also includes working at UNDP GEF SGP/SSGF as an SSGF Project Coordinator & UNV Database Admin - Tsunami Recovery Program from March 2006 to December 2007, as well as at United Nations Volunteers as a Communication & Operations Focal Point and Web ICT Specialist from January 2008 to November 2008. Tara then joined UNICEF as a Database Focal Point (Higher Duty - Monitoring & Reporting Focal Point) from December 2008 to January 2011. Finally, Tara worked at the World Food Programme as a Programme Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation from August 2011 to September 2014.

Tara I.M., MPM has a Master of Project Management degree from the University of Southern Queensland, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication & Information Technology from Edith Cowan University, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, Tara has a Diploma in World Affairs and Diplomacy, specializing in Diplomatic Studies, which they obtained from the Bandaranayake Center for International Studies from 2013 to 2014.

In terms of certifications, Tara has obtained multiple qualifications in various fields. In 2021, they received a Certificate of Recognition for their contribution towards winning the Nobel Peace Prize from the World Food Programme. Tara also completed "The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2021" and "Data Science Course 2021: Complete Data Science Bootcamp" from the Udemy Academy in May and April 2021, respectively. Additionally, Tara obtained a certification in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) from CARE in April 2021.

In 2018, Tara became a PDM Pro Trainer through Plan International and completed training in Hostile Environment Awareness Training through RedR Australia and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care from Real First Aid. Tara also engaged in the Global Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Pathway by the Humanitarian Leadership Academy and completed a course on Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster from the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative in the same year.

Furthermore, Tara obtained a certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2010. In 2009, they became a Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) through the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI) and completed a Supervisory Skills Course offered by UNICEF. Additionally, in 2007, Tara obtained a certification as a Database Administrator from DEVINFO.
