Bas van Straten

Bas van Straten is an experienced professional in construction management with a robust background spanning multiple roles in various companies. Currently serving as Tender/Project Director at BESIX Nederland since June 2023, Bas previously held the position of Project Leader at G&S Bouw b.v. and Sr. Project Manager at Koopmans Bouwgroep TBI. Prior to these roles, significant project management experience was gained at Visser & Smit Bouw bv and Heijmans Utiliteitsbouw, overseeing major projects such as the LAB42 Science Park and Haga Hospital. With earlier positions at Hendriks Bouw en Ontwikkeling, Ballast Nedam, and other firms, Bas has been involved in numerous construction projects, including residential and healthcare developments. Educational qualifications include a degree in Building Technical Management from HTS Tilburg and a diploma in Construction Engineering from MTS Utrecht.
