Emily Pence

Emily Pence has a diverse work experience in legal and intellectual property roles. Emily started their career at DLA Piper as a Trademark, Copyright, and Media Associate from September 2013 to September 2015. Emily then joined Mayer Brown as an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate from October 2015 to September 2017. Emily subsequently worked at Kirkland & Ellis as a Technology & Intellectual Property Transactions Associate from October 2017 to July 2020. Emily then joined Molson Coors Beverage Company as a Senior Counsel - Emerging Growth, where they provided legal support for the alcohol business in the Pacific Region, certain craft breweries nationally, the non-alcoholic beverage business nationally, and the U.S. cannabis business via a joint venture. Emily is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Best Day Brewing since November 2022.

Emily Pence attended DePauw University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, from 2010 to 2013.
