Matthew Chase Whittemore

Matthew Chase Whittemore is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in developing innovative solutions across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Best Egg since December 2022, Matthew leads engineering teams to enhance rental payment flexibility. Previously, Matthew held the position of Head of Engineering at Till and served as a Strategic Advisor and CTO at Crosscut, focusing on supply chain and logistics technologies. Matthew's earlier career includes significant roles at Mapbox, where contributions spanned software engineering and management, and Social Tables, where Matthew was VP of Engineering. Earlier positions included application development at Havas Discovery and lead development at Unique Squared Inc., along with a year of service as a Vista Volunteer with AmeriCorps. Matthew holds a BA in Writing from Houghton University, earned in 2009.
