Kasey Spain

Kasey Spain is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong focus on the animal welfare sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Network Engagement and Shelter Pet Data Alliance at Best Friends Animal Society, Kasey leads recruitment and marketing strategies for a new real-time data platform. Previously, Kasey held several positions at American Pets Alive!, including Maddie's Director of Marketing and Communications, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing comprehensive marketing initiatives for the Human Animal Support Services project. Kasey's extensive background also includes roles as a Creative Director at DoubleHorn, Creative Marketing Manager for the City of Austin's animal shelter, and Art Director at MOSAK Advertising & Insights, among others. Kasey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Abilene Christian University.
