Roberto Machado

Roberto Machado has an extensive work experience. Roberto began their career in 1997 as an Investment Banker at Banco Santander. In 2000, they moved to WME | IMG as a Managing Director. In 2002, they became a Senior Vice President / Sr MD at PageGroup. In 2015, they became a Member of Tech Coast Angels and Pasadena Angels, and an Angel Investor for Jump Bikes, VayaVision, and Virgin Hyperloop One. In 2017, they were a Founder of FitPitch and a Startup Mentor for Google in Silicon Valley. Roberto is currently Co-Founder & CEO of BetaBlocks.

Roberto Machado has a diverse educational background. Roberto began their studies at Wittenberg University, where they earned a Bachelors in Business Administration and Economics in 1997. Roberto then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at EU Business School in 1998, followed by a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at COPPEAD UFRJ in 2005. In 2013, they completed a Venture Capital Executive Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Roberto is currently enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they are studying Clean Energy Solutions: Technological Change to Meet Emissions Reduction Targets.
