Rebecca Yik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rebecca started their career as a Marketing Manager at Bamburgh Properties Pty Limited, where they successfully redesigned the corporate website. Rebecca then moved on to IdeaWorks, where they held positions of Senior Producer and later, Executive Producer. During their time at IdeaWorks, they played a crucial role in pitching and managing large-scale digital projects for clients such as Optus and BIG W. Rebecca then joined Optus as the Executive Producer of Digital Products, leading a team in delivering major capital projects across various platforms. Rebecca later transitioned to the role of Digital Production Manager, overseeing the digital delivery for Optus.com.
Rebecca's journey continued at SingTel, where they served as the Experience Design Manager for their global Group Digital Life business unit. In this role, they supported SingTel's business units in developing and defining user experiences for their digital properties. Following SingTel, they joined Tigerspike as the Head of Strategy, specializing in UX-driven enterprise mobility solutions. Rebecca worked closely with Fortune 1000 companies to deliver engaging digital experiences.
Rebecca's entrepreneurial spirit led their to co-found two companies. Rebecca first co-founded Mangosteen Venture Studio, followed by Hatch Bali, where they took on the role of Founder & CEO. Currently, they are also a co-founder of Dungbeetle. Additionally, they have gained recognition for their work, being named Employee of the Year at IdeaWorks in both 2009 and 2010.

Rebecca Yik pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their completion of a Bachelor of Communications degree in Interactive Multimedia at Edith Cowan University between 1999 and 2001.
