Kelly Berold has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they worked as an Editorial Intern at Condé Nast. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Social Media Editor and Journalist at Media24 (Pty) Ltd. In 2014, they were a Correspondent at The Daily Beast. Kelly then worked as a Writer, Editor, and Media Consultant for Various companies from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they served as a Partner, Strategy and Communications at Studio Collective CPTNYC. In 2017, they were a Workshop Faculty at the Columbia Publishing Course at Oxford University. Kelly pursued a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations at Columbia University from 2018 to 2019, during which they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Policy Analysis and Innovation at the United Nations OCHA. Most recently, they held the positions of Senior Writer and Strategist at Mazarine from 2021 to present, and Senior Brand Writer and Strategist at BETC from 2022 to present.
Kelly Berold earned a Master's degree in Political Science from Columbia University in 2019. Prior to that, Kelly completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Media Theory and Practice, with a focus on English, from the University of Cape Town. Additionally, Kelly attended the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where they completed the Columbia Publishing Course (formerly Radcliffe Publishing Course).
