Richard Fernandez

Mr. Fernandez started at BID-Milton on January 30, 2017. Mr. Fernandez was formerly Senior Vice President of Ambulatory Services for Brigham and Women’s Health Care, where he was responsible for the strategy, operations and financial performance of the ambulatory services program. He was also previously Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Steward Medical Group, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and management of the hospital-employed physician groups and management service organization.

An experienced health care leader, Mr. Fernandez has an extensive background in developing ambulatory care programs, leading capital facility projects and managing physician networks, all of which will figure prominently in BID-Milton’s plans for the coming years.
