Amtul Siddiqui

Executive Director, Philanthropy, Bethany Care Foundation (BCF) at Bethany Creating Caring Communities

Amtul Siddiqui is the Executive Director of Philanthropy for Bethany Care Foundation (BCF). BCF engages the community in support of Bethany Care Society, one of Western Canada’s largest voluntary not-for-profit providers of health, housing, and community services for seniors and persons with disabilities.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting, Amtul interned at the Department of Treasury in Washington, D.C. before moving to Canada to work, raise a family, and advocate for underserved individuals in the community. Prior to her work with BCF, Amtul championed causes close to her heart as the Senior Development Officer for the Calgary Health Foundation, Senior Manager of Advancement at Vivo, and Associate Director of Corporate Giving with the Canadian Red Cross, where she was the national fundraising lead for the 2016 Alberta fires and the 2013 Alberta Floods.

In addition to her role at Bethany, Amtul is Commission Vice-Chair for the Calgary Police Commission and Vice-Chair of the Canadian Association of Police Governance. Other volunteer roles have included the CIBC Run for the Cure, RCMP multicultural committee, Panorama Heights school, Vivo Board of Directors, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
