Alan Bohnhoff

Alan Bohnhoff is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with extensive experience in both individual and relational therapeutic settings. Currently serving as a counselor at Formation Counseling Services in Athens and Bethel Haven, Alan employs an integrated theological framework alongside Solution Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, particularly focusing on couples, families, and individuals facing relationship and marriage challenges. Prior to their current roles, Alan held counseling internships at Legacy Strategy, Inc. and Hope Counseling Center at West Ridge, where competencies in assessment, treatment planning, and various therapeutic modalities were developed. Alan's background also includes significant experience in project management within the technology sector, having held senior roles at Cox Communications and IBM. Alan earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.
