Laura Watten

Laura Watten has extensive experience in collegiate softball coaching, currently serving as the Head Softball Coach at Bethune-Cookman University since August 2014. Prior to this role, Watten held the same position at the University of Maryland from August 2005 to July 2014 and returned to Bethune-Cookman University for a similar tenure from September 1997 to August 2005. Watten began the coaching career as a Volunteer Assistant Softball Coach at the University of Texas at Arlington during the 1996-1997 season. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Education in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Texas Woman's University.
