Dmytro Fishman

Dmytro Fishman is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and data science. As an Associate Professor at the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science since September 2013, Dmytro has held various teaching positions, including Assistant Professor and Junior Lecturer. Concurrently, Dmytro serves as a Senior Researcher at STACC and is the Chief Scientific Officer and Founder of Better Medicine. Dmytro has also been an Invited Lecturer at Ukrainian Catholic University and a Data and Software Carpentry Instructor with The Carpentries since March 2016, focusing on foundational coding and data science skills for researchers globally. Dmytro's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Tartu, where studies spanned from 2013 to 2021, as well as multiple master's degrees from esteemed institutions.
