Freek Ten Broeke

Freek ten Broeke is a social entrepreneur and founder of Piece of Freek, a successful carrot and walnut cake baked in Rotterdam. Freek is also the co-founder and shareholder of Better Places & Fairaway, a marketing platform connecting travelers with sustainable travel specialists. With a background in social entrepreneurship, Freek advises young entrepreneurs and has experience in carbon offsetting initiatives within the travel industry. Freek has a strong background in sustainable tourism, having founded the first sustainable travel agency in the Netherlands. Freek has also worked in project assessment and management roles in international organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières. Freek holds a degree from NHTV Nationale Hogeschool voor Toerisme en Verkeer.
