David Perry

David Perry is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and therapeutic sectors. As Chairman and Co-Founder of Better Therapeutics since 2015, David has played a crucial role in developing digital therapeutics for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. David co-founded Gaia School CR in 2022, focusing on holistic education and connection to nature. Previous roles include Director at Evelo Biosciences, CEO and Director at Indigo, and Co-founder and CEO of Anacor Pharmaceuticals, where David led the company through an IPO. David founded Chemdex and Virogen early in their career, and managed operations at an Exxon refinery. David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Tulsa.
