Oliver Ester

Oliver Ester has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Oliver most recently worked as a Senior Data Scientist at BetterDoc, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, Oliver was a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at IKIM - Institut für Künstliche Intelligenz in der Medizin from July 2021 to October 2022. Oliver also worked as a Data Science/Analytics Consultant as a freelancer from May 2021 to October 2022.

Before their freelance work, Oliver served as the Lead Data Scientist at Westphalia DataLab GmbH from February 2018 to April 2021 and as the Lead Data Analyst at Simplicity trade GmbH from May 2016 to December 2017. Oliver started their career with a Praktikum Reporting/BI role at Sparkassen Rating und Risikosysteme GmbH from April 2014 to August 2014.

Oliver's early work experience includes roles as a Werkstudent IT at zeb consulting from April 2013 to April 2014 and as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft in various positions at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Oliver Ester completed their Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik at the University of Münster. In 2015, they also participated in a study abroad program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology), focusing on Computer Science. After that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Systems at the University of Münster, which they successfully completed in 2017.
