Michael Adams, CPFA, ERPA®, QPA, QKA, serves as the 401(k) Compliance Manager at Betterment since January 2023, previously holding the position of Senior 401(k) Compliance Associate. Prior to Betterment, Michael worked at Alliance Pension Consultants, LLC as a Pension Administrator from May 2021 to January 2023. Michael’s earlier experience includes a decade at Saturna Capital, where roles included Employer Services Manager, Lead Employer Services Agent, 401(k) Administrator, Investor Services Representative, and Operations Clerk. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Western Washington University, earned in 2010.
