Senior Human Resources Generalist at BetterNight

Jessica Mower has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Bank Teller role at JPMorgan Chase in 2007. Jessica then worked as a Lead Counselor for Boys & Girls Clubs of America from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they joined YMCA of San Diego County as a Human Resource Generalist, where they served in various roles such as Director of Administration, Office Administrator, and Member Services II. In 2022, they joined BetterNight as a Senior Human Resources Generalist. During their time at YMCA of San Diego County, they were responsible for processing exempt and non-exempt payroll for 250+ employees, managing a 1.9 million dollar administrative budget, and organizing and managing staff compliance trainings and required certifications. Jessica also collaborated with leadership to organize, plan, and implement large-scale association policy changes, and participated in the Annual Giving Campaign as a staff liaison.

Jessica Mower attended Grossmont College from 2005 to 2011 and earned an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. From 2011 to 2013, they attended San Diego State University, but did not receive a degree.
