Hywel Lo has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Hywel is currently working as a Customer Success Engineer at Betteromics, starting in November 2022.

Prior to this, Hywel worked at LinkedIn for several years, starting in 2015. Hywel held various roles, including Staff Partner Engineer from September 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they led the company-wide V1 to V2 API Developer Platform migration and established enterprise integrations such as Microsoft People Card and Sales Navigator Display. Hywel also developed strategic partnerships in China. From 2012 to 2015, Hywel worked at Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center as a Software Engineer. Here, they created a RESTful API platform for third-party TV applications and developed scalable applications on the Xfinity X1 Cloud TV Platform.

Hywel started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Plaxo in 2011 and as a QA/QC Intern at EVGA in 2009.

Hywel Lo attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Hywel also pursued additional certifications. In November 2016, they obtained a certification in Conscious Business from LinkedIn, and in December 2020, they obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias, also from LinkedIn. Most recently, in August 2021, Hywel obtained a certification in Learning GraphQL from LinkedIn.
