Jaron McDonnel

Jaron McDonnel has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jaron started their career in 2009 as a Patient Access Specialist at IASIS Healthcare, where they gained experience in ER registration, insurance verification, and quality assurance. Jaron then moved on to roles such as Business Office Collector and Business Office Supervisor, where they oversaw Medicaid collectors and worked on improving efficiency in workflow.

In 2012, Jaron joined re|solution as a Registration Manager/Project Manager, where they tripled Point of Service collections and restructured the registration department for better customer service. Jaron also worked as an Analyst, handling commercial payor follow-up on hospital claims.

Jaron later joined Providence Saint John's Health Clinic in 2013, initially as a Patient Access Supervisor. Jaron then progressed to roles of increasing responsibility, including Manager of Health Clinic Operations, Senior Health Clinic Operations Manager, and Business Manager. In these roles, they managed operational improvements, caregiver quality, and revenue cycle functions, promoting wellness throughout the West Los Angeles area.

In 2020, Jaron became a Regional Revenue Cycle Manager at PROVIDENCE SAINT JOHNS MEDICAL FOUNDATION before moving on to become the Director of Med Group Operations at Lakeside Community Healthcare in 2021. Currently, Jaron holds the position of Senior Director of Oncology Operations at Beverly Hills Cancer Center as of 2023.

Jaron McDonnel earned a Master's degree in Master's of Health Leadership from Western Governors University, completing their studies from 2022 to 2023. Prior to this, they attended the University of Utah from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature. Their education journey began at Brigham Young University from 2001 to 2008, where they pursued English Language and Literature/Letters without obtaining a specific degree.
