Jackie Hillman

Jackie Hillman has a diverse work experience. Jackie currently works as an Operations Manager at Impact Lacrosse, where they manage club teams, handles social media and website development, and organizes operations and promotional advertising. Jackie is also a Writing and Steering Committee Member at National Latin Exam, contributing to the committee's work. In addition, Jackie has experience in education, serving as a Head Lacrosse Coach at Bexley City Schools and a Latin Teacher. Jackie has also worked as the Head of Arts & Crafts at Camp Green Cove. Furthermore, Jackie has been involved in curriculum development as a member of the World Languages Model Curriculum Review Committee for the Ohio Department of Education. Jackie gained teaching experience as a Student Teaching Intern at Albemarle High School and Buford Middle School. Additionally, Jackie has worked as a Substitute Teacher at both Albemarle County Public Schools and St. Anne's Belfield School. Lastly, they have served as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia PHAD Lab.

Jackie Hillman's education history begins with graduating from Pace Academy in 2014 with a high school diploma. After that, Hillman attended the University of Virginia from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and Psychology.

In 2018 and 2019, Hillman pursued a Master of Teaching degree in Foreign Language Education K-12 (Latin) at the University of Virginia. Following this, they went on to further their education at the same university from 2023 to 2028, completing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction.

In addition to their academic degrees, Hillman also holds two certifications. In May 2019, they obtained a Resident Educator (4 Year) Teaching License from the Ohio Department of Education. In July 2019, they also obtained a Pupil Activity Permit (4 Year) - Coaching certification from the same institution.
