Wayne Small

Wayne Small has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as a Master at NRC National Response Corporation since May 2013, where responsibilities include managing spill exercises in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, Wayne has held the position of Captain/Master at CBR Towing since January 2013, focusing on pushing and towing barges along inland and Western Rivers. Since August 2011, Wayne has been a Master at Beyel Brothers Inc, overseeing barge transportation between the Bahamas and mainland U.S. ports. Prior to these roles, Wayne served as Master Towing at Tidewater Fleet Supply from January 1999 to December 2005. Educational qualifications include studies in Management and Natural Resources Management and Policy from Boston College, Transportation and Logistics from Southwestern Community College, and a pending AA degree from the University of Maryland.
