Meredith Cagle

Meredith Cagle has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries. Meredith currently holds the position of Chief Program Officer at Beyond Blindness, where they have been working since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Programs and Director of Strategy and Innovation at the same organization from July 2022 to September 2022 and from December 2019 to July 2022, respectively.

Before joining Beyond Blindness, Meredith worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in nonprofit consulting, starting in February 2003.

From July 2018 to November 2019, they were the Senior Director of Patient Engagement at Global Genes. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Patient Engagement from August 2016 to July 2018.

Meredith's leadership experience includes being the Executive Director at The Foundation for the Undefeated from December 2012 to August 2016. Additionally, they worked as a District Consultant at Plum District from February 2012 to January 2013.

Meredith started their career as a Prevention Services Officer at the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services, where they worked from July 1994 to January 2003. Following this, they served as a Special Event Coordinator at the City of Newport Beach, Recreation and Senior Services from March 2011 to November 2012.

Throughout their career, Meredith has gained significant experience in various roles within the nonprofit, healthcare, and event planning sectors.

Meredith Cagle earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine between the years 1990 and 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Community Health Sciences from UCLA from 1997 to 1999.
