Lomax Ward has a diverse work experience in the field of venture capitalism and technology. Lomax is currently a General Partner at Outsized Ventures, where they collaborate with founders who are revolutionizing science and technology to tackle global challenges. Lomax also holds the position of Kauffman Fellow Class 27 at Kauffman Fellows. Prior to these roles, they co-founded Allocate in 2019 and served as a Co-Founder. Additionally, they held the position of Board Observer at Phenomic, Biomage Ltd, and LGN. Lomax was a Non-Executive Director at Optellum from July 2019 to September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and General Partner at Luminous Ventures, a London-based VC fund with a focus on deep tech applications in healthcare, life sciences, and more. Lomax has also served as a Non-Executive Director at Active Global Specialised Caregivers and The Fertility Partnership.

Lomax Ward obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge in the field of Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. This educational pursuit took place from 2004 to 2007.
