Mostafa Samir

Mostafa Samir's work experience began in 2012 as a Freelance Full-Stack Web Developer, where they planned and implemented web applications, updated and maintained existing ones, and provided technical consultation on web development projects. In 2015, they worked as a Full-Stack Javascript Developer at Tellowant, where they updated an existing shared accommodation system in Dubai, implementing new features such as push notifications and video streaming. From 2017 to 2021, Mostafa worked at Mawdoo3.com as a Machine Learning Researcher/Engineer, specializing in Arabic natural language understanding. Mostafa designed and implemented the core Arabic NLU system, conducted research, mentored junior engineers, and developed various NLP/NLU solutions. Currently, Mostafa holds the position of Machine Learning Manager - EMEA at Beyond Limits, starting in 2021.

Mostafa Samir completed their high school education at Sohag Military Secondary School from 2009 to 2011. Mostafa then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Assiut University, graduating in 2015. After that, Mostafa obtained certifications in various computer science-related fields. In August 2013, they completed a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera. In December 2014, they acquired a certification in Game Theory from the same platform. In March 2015, they obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence Planning from Coursera, and in May 2015, they completed the BerkeleyX CS188.1x course on Artificial Intelligence from edX. Most recently, Mostafa has been pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are scheduled to complete in 2025.
