Francois Toubol (he/him)

Francois Toubol has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Francois is currently the VP of Engineering at Beyond Pricing since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the CTO at Chill Meditation + Massage since April 2019, where they focused on startup tech team and architecture, SaaS growth strategy, and capital raise.

Francois was also involved in the Chicago CTO Group as a Member and President of the Board of Directors from June 2018 to September 2021. In this role, they organized meetups, coordinated speaker events, and implemented a 501.c3 incorporation to support the Chicago Tech community.

Francois served as an Advisor and CTO at Livly from June 2019 to March 2021. Francois played a key role in scaling the product and engineering teams and implementing a SaaS growth strategy.

Prior to Livly, they held senior positions at Reputation.com, including Sr. Director of Engineering and SVP of Technology, where they focused on M&A, product planning, and software architecture. During their time at SIM Partners, they also served as the VP of Engineering and was responsible for building and scaling the technology team and platform.

Before joining Reputation.com, Francois founded Epsilon Force Technology in 2002 and operated as the CTO. Francois led a team of engineers and provided software development services for various projects. Francois also worked as a .NET Architect at Proceed Innovative LLC, where they led a team and implemented web solutions.

Throughout their career, Francois has demonstrated expertise in technology leadership, SaaS growth strategies, team building, and software architecture.

Francois Toubol (he/him) holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from ISEP - école d'ingénieurs du numérique, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. In 2020, they pursued studies at Stanford University in the field of Machine Learning, specifically under the guidance of Prof. Andrew Ng. In the same year, they also completed a course on Quantum Mechanics, specifically "Fundamentals of Physics, II (PHYS 201)" with Prof. Ramamurti Shankar at Yale University. Additionally, Francois has obtained a variety of certifications, including "Google Cloud IAM and Networking for AWS Professionals" from Google in 2023, "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn in 2022, and "Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion" from LinkedIn in 2021. Francois also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an "Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate" in 2020 and from deeplearning.ai in various fields such as "Deep Learning," "Sequence Models," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Neural Networks Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" in 2020. In 2000, they earned the "IBM - Rational Certified Professional" certification from IBM.
