Rodrigo Suárez

Rodrigo Suárez has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Rodrigo started their career at Urseapp in 2014, where they worked as a Software Developer. In this role, they focused on backend development and created a solution using Node.js to save and update data from Uruguayan open data resources to their MongoDB database. Rodrigo also built a RESTful API and set up jobs to update the database at midnight.

In 2016, Rodrigo joined Octobot as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Rodrigo held this position for four years, until 2020. At Octobot, they worked on various projects and gained extensive experience in full stack development.

Following their time at Octobot, Rodrigo joined Bistrohub in 2020. Rodrigo initially worked as a Full Stack Engineer (Product) and later became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, they played a crucial role in leading and overseeing technical aspects within the company. Rodrigo left Bistrohub in May 2022.

In 2017, Rodrigo also co-founded AFISENSE - Agricultura Inteligente, where they served as a Software Engineer Lead and Co-Founder. Rodrigo contributed to the development of intelligent agriculture solutions.

Most recently, Rodrigo joined Beyond in 2022 as a Software Engineer. Rodrigo currently holds the position of Software Engineer 3.

Rodrigo Suárez completed their education from 2009 to 2009 at Circulo Informático, where they obtained a degree in Técnico en Reparación de PC y Redes Profesionales, specializing in the field of Reparación de Pc y redes profesionales. Afterward, from 2011 to 2018, they attended Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga', where they earned an Ingeniero en Informática degree.
