Laura Clarke, MPH has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2007 when they worked as a Welcome Center Staff for the YMCA of Greater San Antonio. In 2009, they served as a Communication Intern for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. In 2010, they moved to the YMCA of Greater Houston and worked as Welcome Center Staff. In 2011, they began working for the HealthStart Foundation, Inc. as a Communication & Marketing Intern, and for the YMCA of Austin as Membership Coordinator, Membership Director, and Welcome Center Team Lead. From 2015 to 2018, they served as Program Director and Manager of Running Clubs & Partnerships for Marathon Kids. In 2018, they began working for the United Way for Greater Austin as Chief Transformation Officer and Director of Development Operations. Most recently, in 2021, they began working for beyond the horizon technology as Head of Client Success and Senior Project Manager.
Laura Clarke, MPH has a diverse educational background. Laura began their studies in 2008 at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication, Social Interaction in 2010. Laura then attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) and obtained their Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Promotion & Behavioral Sciences in 2012. In 2020, they completed a Strategic Thinking Certificate Program at The University of Texas at Austin.
