Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Tom is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at BeZero Carbon since May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Datatonic from September 2021 to May 2022. Prior to Datatonic, they held the position of Research Scientist at Third Eye Intelligence from October 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they focused on applying cutting-edge AI, specifically natural language processing models, for predicting the onset and diagnosis of medical conditions from clinical notes. Tom also worked as a Data Scientist at GSK from July 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they were a part of the core data science team responsible for utilizing AI in supply chain processes, with a focus on procedure verification and continuous monitoring of medical devices using computer vision.

Tom Taylor completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences, with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science, at Durham University from 2016 to 2020. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computing, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, at Imperial College London from 2020 to 2021. In addition, Tom Taylor obtained a certification in Applied Analytics using SAS Enterprise Miner from SAS in August 2018.
