Oliver Mak

Oliver Mak is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large development teams and driving innovative solutions in various technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Bezos Academy since September 2022, Oliver previously held senior roles at HERE Technologies from July 2014 to April 2022, including Senior Director of Engineering, where leadership spanned multiple teams focusing on the HERE Location Platform Experience, as well as the development of core frameworks and analytics tools. Prior experience at Medio Systems from May 2006 to June 2014 involved directing teams in mobile app development and business intelligence dashboards. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
