Joan Ribó Cabistany

Joan Ribó Cabistany has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Joan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Bflike since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Danone for several years in various positions. From 2020 to 2022, they held the role of Head of European Innovation Projects - China ELN Business Unit, where they were responsible for innovation and coordination of projects related to infant milk formula and food for special medical purposes. Joan also served as an Operations Projects Manager from 2017 to 2020, overseeing projects related to innovation, secure, productivity, and quality & compliance at the supply points of Cuijk and Haps. Other roles at Danone include Project Manager for global innovations from 2015 to 2017 and Process Engineer at Danone Engineering Worldwide from 2014 to 2015. Before joining Danone, Joan worked as a Laboratory Analyst at INTECMAR in 2012, where they conducted microbiological analysis on food products and developed a method for retrovirus detection. Joan also gained experience as a Shop Assistant at Intersport España from 2007 to 2011 and as an intern at IMIM in 2010.

Joan Ribó Cabistany pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2011 to 2012, they completed a Master's degree in Clinical and Environmental Laboratory Analysis at the same university.
