Karen Sherwood

Karen Sherwood has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Karen has served as the Director of Education and Marketing for BG5 Business Institute since 2015, where they are responsible for developing education programs and promoting them worldwide. Additionally, they are a Certified BG5 Master Instructor, training consultants and trainers on utilizing the BG5 assessment tool.

Prior to their role at BG5 Business Institute, Karen held the title of Mrs. Greenwood Village from 2015 to 2017 in the Mrs. Colorado America Pageant. Karen also worked at Fred Pryor Seminars as an Independent Contract Trainer, Course Designer, and Webinar Specialist. In this role, they created webinars and developed full-day courses on various business topics, traveling nationwide to train organizations.

Karen's experience in technology began at NewVoice Education/DTS Computer Training, where they worked as a Speaker, Trainer, and Consultant. Karen specialized in Microsoft Office and web-based programs, helping individuals navigate and understand technology. Karen also founded and served as CEO of Business Success By Design and The Women's Small Biz Network, supporting and empowering women in their personal and professional lives.

Other roles in Karen's work history include being a member of the International Association of Women in Coaching, a facilitator for the 3to5 Club ONLINE at Crankset Group, a Technical and Personal Development Trainer/Coach at Trainers Alliance International, and a Participation Manager/Production Manager at Landmark Education.

Notably, Karen has worked with well-known companies such as ExxonMobil, Hallmark, Microsoft, and the US Navy throughout their career.

Karen Sherwood's education history includes a variety of certifications and degrees. Karen attended Colorado State University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Speech Communications/Broadcasting. In 1994, they enrolled in Lesley University to study Counseling Psychology.

In 2013, Karen Sherwood began their professional development at the BG5 Business Institute, where they became a Certified BG5 Consultant and BG5 Instructor. Concurrently, they pursued a certification in BG5 - Human Design Career and Business Consulting at the International Human Design School.

Furthermore, Karen Sherwood has obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2003, they became a Certified Fred Pryor Seminar Trainer through Fred Pryor Seminars. In 2009, they obtained the certification of Certified Executive Coach from the Certified Coaches Federation. In 2013, they became a Sacred Money Archetypes Certified Coach through the International Association of Women in Coaching - Kendall Summerhawk.

In 2014, Karen Sherwood continued their education at the International Human Design School and the BG5 Business Institute, acquiring the certification of Certified BG5 Career & Business Consultant.

Lastly, in January 2016, they obtained multiple certifications including Human Design Analyst, Incarnation Cross Analysis, Individual Rave Analysis, Life Cycle Analysis, and Partnership Analysis through the International Human Design School. Additionally, they acquired various teaching certifications such as BG5 Certification, OC16 Certification, BG5 Foundation, Profit Potential Workshops, Profit Potential Coaching Certification, Living Your Design, Rave ABCs, and Rave Cartography from both the International Human Design School and the BG5 Business Institute.
