Phil Neumiller

Phil Neumiller has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Phil currently works as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at BGI, LLC since April 2022. Previously, they were a Senior Principal Scientist at CNF Technologies from November 2020 to March 2022, where they researched SIGINT applications and data science enhanced signal processing. Phil also worked as a Software Engineering Contractor for CNF Technologies from March 2020 to November 2020 through Cyber Force Net Technologies.

Before joining CNF Technologies, Phil worked as a Platform Engineer at DirectStream from June 2019 to March 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Systems Engineer in Space and Intelligence Systems at Harris Corporation from March 2018 to June 2019. Phil also worked as a Systems Engineer at Davidson Technologies Inc. from September 2017 to March 2018.

Phil has entrepreneurial experience as a Founding Partner at White Pine Analytics, LLC from October 2016 to 2017. Phil also worked as a Principal DSP / Firmware Engineer at Emerson Process Management from June 2014 to September 2016. Additionally, they served as a Senior Staff Systems Engineer at Saab from June 2005 to March 2014, where they worked on air traffic management systems and radars.

Earlier in their career, Phil worked as a Senior Analyst, Principal Investigator at Convergys, Inc from March 2003 to June 2005, where they researched Federated Digital Identity, Liberty Alliance, SAML, and investigated large-scale VOIP systems. Phil also had some Java development experience in this role.

Phil Neumiller obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they attended from 1982 to 1986. Phil later pursued a Master of Science degree in EECS from the University of Illinois Chicago, although no specific start and end years were provided. In terms of additional certifications, Phil obtained the Vibration Analyst: Category II certification from Emerson Process Management in June 2014.
