Christopher Lear

Director, Workplace Technology at BGIS

Christopher Lear has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Christopher most recently worked as a Director of Workplace Technology at BGIS starting in September 2020. Prior to this, they were a BI Consulting Associate at JLL from December 2018 to May 2020. From October 2012 to December 2018, Christopher served as a Strategic Information Manager at Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions. Christopher also worked as a GIS Analyst at Valassis Canada Inc from December 2009 to October 2012, a Research Analyst at Colliers-International from March 2009 to November 2009, and a Research Data Specialist at DTZ Barnicke from September 2008 to December 2008. Christopher's career started as a GIS Research Assistant at CSCA from January 2006 to January 2008.

Christopher Lear attended Ryerson University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Geographic Analysis with a specialization in Geographic Information Science. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2002, they attended George Brown College and obtained a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technician. In addition to their formal education, Christopher Lear has also obtained certifications in Tableau, including Tableau Author and Tableau Consumer, from Tableau Software in the year 2020.
