Paul Newman

Paul Newman is an experienced HSEQ professional with a robust background in health, safety, and environmental management. Currently serving as the HSEQ Business Partnership Manager for Western Australia and South Australia at BGIS since November 2020, Paul also holds the position of Global HSE Manager for the Rio Tinto Account. Previous roles include HSE Manager at Superior Energy Services and Environment, Health and Safety Manager at Workstrings International. Paul’s extensive experience also encompasses various positions at Baker Hughes, where responsibilities included managing HSE programs across Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea from 2006 to 2018. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from Victoria University, a NEBOSH International General Certificate, and a BTEC Diploma in Business and Finance. Additionally, Paul possesses a Cert IV in Training and Assessment from Swan Tafe.
