Ritwik Basu

Ritwik Basu, PhD, currently serves as Deputy Manager in Research Development at Bharat Forge Ltd since March 2021. Prior experiences include roles as Associate Professor at BHARTIYA SKILL DEVELOPMENT UNIVERSITY and The NorthCap University, as Assistant Professor at Manipal University, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan. Earlier, Ritwik held positions in industry, working as an EBSD Application Specialist at Oxford Instruments and as a Mechanical Engineer and Production Engineer in various firms. Ritwik's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a Master of Technology in Material Sciences from Jadavpur University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering Nanded, complemented by internship experience at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and Imperial College London.
