Vipul Sharma

Vipul Sharma is the Chief Risk Officer at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, one of the leading life insurance companies in India.

Vipul brings 2 decades of experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit and Operations Management. Prior to joining us, Vipul was EVP & Head – Internal Audit and Chief Risk Officer for a period of 6 years at HDFC ERGO Health Insurance, erstwhile known as Apollo Munich Health Insurance. He has successfully executed risk-based audits, process reviews to assess overall risk to improve controls and restrict residual risk at acceptable levels. Vipul has previously also worked at ICICI Prulife and ICICI Bank for 13 years in roles across Internal Audit, Customer Service & Operations.

Vipul holds a Masters degree in Finance and Control and is also a certified Information Systems Auditor. In his spare time, Vipul enjoys watching movies and travelling.
