Chuck is a civil engineering specialist with a focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering. Much of his career has emphasized his expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic analysis. He began his career working in the solar engineering field, applying skills learned in the integrated Environmental Studies and Alternative Energy Systems programs studied in college. He later began working with civil engineering firms, contributing to, and later leading multidisciplinary teams working on comprehensive plans, collection system, and distribution system designs, I/I reduction, and hydraulic modeling.
Chuck is a native Washingtonian, growing up in eastern Washington before moving to the “west side.” He and his wife Teri moved to the Seattle area in 1980 where they raised two daughters, Kendra and Savannah. Chuck now has a new best-buddy in Henry, his first grandchild. Strong family ties bind Chuck’s family and extended families together.
Outside of work, Chuck’s favorite activities are golfing, fly fishing, and kayaking on the small lake where he and his family live. His family’s involvement in the eastern Washington wine industry often takes center stage for summertime travels, activities, and events.
