Ryan Steim, CPA

Ryan Steim, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in the field of accounting. Ryan began their career as an Accounting Intern at Buena Vista University in 2017, where they assisted Professor Beth Blankers with grading coursework, hosting study sessions for students, and completing various projects. Ryan continued in this role until May 2018 while also assuming the position of Teacher Assistant for Professor Blankers, providing additional support to accounting students.

In August 2018, Ryan joined KPMG as an Audit Associate. In this role, they provided external audit services to both public and private entities. Their responsibilities included conducting inquiries with clients, documenting different process levels such as revenue and cost of sales, testing internal controls, and performing substantive detail tests over financial statements. Ryan worked at KPMG until October 2019.

Afterward, Ryan joined UHY LLP, Certified Public Accountants in December 2019 as a Senior Accountant in Audit. Ryan served in this role until July 2022, gaining further experience in auditing and financial analysis.

Currently, Ryan holds the position of Technical Accountant at BHE Renewables, LLC, starting in August 2022.

Ryan Steim, CPA completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Buena Vista University from 2014 to 2018. In January 2020, they earned the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Iowa Accountancy Examining Board.
