Stephen Hough

Stephen Hough has a solid background in fraud strategy and analytics. Stephen currently works as the Director of Fraud Strategy & Analytics at BHG Financial, where they manage a team of data analytics professionals. In this role, they are responsible for understanding, recalibrating, and optimizing fraud strategy performance. Stephen is also building a new team at BHG Financial to create metrics and reporting infrastructure for evaluating model performance and model drift. Prior to BHG Financial, Stephen worked as a Senior Manager of Fraud Strategy & Analytics at OnDeck, where they supported and drove fraud strategy through data analytics and scorecard building. Stephen also worked as a Fraud Data Analyst at OnDeck, where they built model efficacy metrics and automated workflows using python scripts. Before OnDeck, Stephen gained experience at U.S. Bank, where they served as a Risk & Compliance Data Analyst, and at Target, where they worked in Business Intelligence & Analytics. Stephen's early work experience includes roles at Wings Financial Credit Union as a Research & Database Marketing Analyst and at Como Park Senior High School as a Student Teacher.

From 2006 to 2010, Stephen Hough attended the University of St. Thomas, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Secondary Education with a co-major in History.
