Christopher Byrde

Christopher Byrde, CPA, currently serves as Vice President of Financial Operations for the Indiana Region at BHI Senior Living, a position held since April 2016, and previously held roles including Controller. Prior experience includes serving as Financial Reporting Director at WellPoint from July 2008 to May 2014 and Director of Accounting Policy at Irwin Financial Corporation from October 2004 to July 2008. In the latter role, Christopher Byrde was responsible for overseeing GAAP application and compliance as well as auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Earlier career positions include Accounting Manager at Bank One from 1997 to 2003 and Supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand from 1983 to 1990. Christopher Byrde earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business between 1979 and 1983.
